Welcome to the Keilor Park SC Community Football Trials!

We are thrilled to welcome you to the Keilor Park SC 2024 Community Football Trials, starting on Monday 23 October 2023! Your passion and dedication to football have brought you here, and we are excited to see the talent and enthusiasm you will bring to the field.

We encourage you to come prepared to give your best effort, and to have fun! The trials are a great opportunity to showcase your skills, meet new teammates, connect with current teammates, and learn from our experienced coaches.


Football Trial Frenzy!

We’ve been inundated with Expressions of Interest for the 2024 season, with over 1,000 players eager to join our club. As a Community club, we’re proud to cater to all levels of experience, from first-timers to seasoned players.

However, with demand outstripping supply, we’re required to hold trials to ensure a fair selection process. With some sessions expecting over 80 players, we anticipate a bustling environment filled with eager players and supportive parents.

Your patience and cooperation will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and timely check-in process for all involved. We look forward to seeing you on the field!



Check-In Process

To facilitate a seamless experience, please adhere to the following check-in process:

- Arrive Early: Ensure you are present at least 15-20 minutes before your trial begins.
- Registration Desk: Line up at the registration desk upon arrival. Provide your surname and first name to our team. If you pre-registered successfully, you will have your trial number written on a sticker to be placed in visible sight of the coach for easy identification.
- Players who have not completed the Expression of Interest may experience a delay. 
- The team you are trialling for in 2024 is determined by your age next year (i.e. if you were born in 2010, you will trial with the U14’s age group). All players must initially trial in their correct age groups to be reviewed by our coaches and Technical Directors.

- Girls turning 18 next year – are to trial for our Reserves squad (dates TBC)

- Girls turning 17 next year – who have submitted an EOI for Reserves are encouraged to trial with the U17s Girls team first (Reserve trial dates TBC).

- Boys turning 17 or 18 next year – are to trial for our U18’s squad. If you have expressed interest in our Reserves squad, we encourage you to attend U18’s trials first (Reserve trial dates TBC)

- Enter the Field: Once checked in, proceed to the field and await further instructions from the coaches.


Important Reminders for Parents and Kids

Field Access: Parents are not permitted to enter the field of play and must remain behind the fence at all times during the trials. Coach Interaction: Please refrain from approaching coaches before, during, or after the trials to ensure they can focus on evaluating all players fairly and effectively. Trials are overseen by our licensed Technical Directors and a selection of our Community Team coaches.
